Shipping Policy

This Shipping Policy outlines how Trust Share Logistics processes, handles, and delivers shipments. By booking a shipment with us, you agree to the terms described below.

1. Transit Times by Service Mode

Air Freight

Air freight is our fastest service, offering transit times of 1–5 business days for most international routes. Express air services for urgent cargo can achieve next-day delivery on select routes. Transit times are estimated from the date the shipment is accepted at our facility and depend on airline schedules, customs clearance, and destination conditions.

Ocean Freight

Ocean freight is our most cost-effective option for large or heavy cargo. Standard transit times range from 7–35 business days depending on the origin-destination port pair. Port-to-port times are typically shorter; door-to-door times include inland collection and delivery, customs processing, and final-mile delivery.

Cargo / Road Transportation

Road cargo services operate on 1–7 business day transit times for regional and national deliveries. International road freight may take longer depending on border crossing requirements and route conditions.

All transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by customs inspections, regulatory checks, force majeure, or carrier disruptions are outside our control.

2. Packaging Requirements

Proper packaging is the responsibility of the sender and is critical to ensuring safe transit. We recommend the following guidelines:

  • Use new, sturdy corrugated cardboard boxes rated for the weight of the contents.
  • Fill empty space inside boxes with appropriate cushioning material (bubble wrap, foam peanuts, or air pillows).
  • Fragile items must be individually wrapped and clearly labelled "FRAGILE."
  • Palletised freight must be shrink-wrapped and secured with strapping to prevent movement.
  • All boxes must be clearly labelled with the full sender and recipient address, including postal code and country.

Trust Share Logistics is not liable for damage resulting from inadequate packaging. We offer professional packaging services — please contact us for a quote.

3. Shipment Insurance

All shipments are covered up to a basic carrier liability limit. For high-value cargo, we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive shipment insurance. Our team can arrange cargo insurance on your behalf at competitive rates. Please inform us of the declared value at the time of booking.

Claims for insured shipments must be filed within the timeframes stipulated in the insurance policy documentation provided at booking.

4. Customs and Import Duties

For international shipments, the recipient (importer) is responsible for:

  • Paying all applicable customs duties, import taxes, and VAT imposed by the destination country.
  • Providing accurate and complete commercial invoices and other required documentation.
  • Complying with all import regulations, licences, and restrictions of the destination country.

Trust Share Logistics offers customs brokerage assistance. However, we act only as an agent of the importer and are not responsible for the accuracy of documentation provided by the shipper. Delays or costs arising from customs holds due to incomplete or inaccurate declarations are the responsibility of the shipper.

5. Tracking Your Shipment

Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your shipment in real time via our Track Shipment tool. SMS and email notifications are available on request. If you encounter any issues with tracking, please contact our support team.

6. Failed Delivery

If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful (e.g., recipient absent or incorrect address), our courier will leave a notification and reattempt delivery. After two failed attempts, the shipment may be returned to the sender or held at a local depot. Storage fees may apply after 5 business days. The cost of re-delivery or return shall be borne by the shipper.
